Chief Economist

Dr. Win Thin has over 30 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining Bank of Nassau as Chief Economist, Win was Global Head of Markets Strategy at Brown Brothers Harriman. Previously, he was a Vice President and international economist covering major emerging markets in Asia and Latin America for Alliance Capital Management and HSBC. Win has a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University. He has a broad macroeconomic background, with a special interest in international trade and capital flows. His goal is to help investors navigate the ever-changing global economy and provide insights on the markets that will help clients make informed decisions for their investment portfolios. Win is a member of Bank of Nassau’s Investment Committee.
